Whatever brings you through our doors, we want you to feel comfortable asking questions and confident in your decisions.
The name Mountain View Smiles reflects a fresh direction for the practice, but the heart of the office remains familiar. Dr. Tom Nack, Dr. Brent Woodmansee, and our team continue the people-first approach patients knew at Mercado Dental Care. You will still find warm welcomes, straightforward conversations, advanced technology, and the “great vibes” our patients talk about.

Our approach brings preventive, cosmetic, restorative, emergency, and sedation dentistry together under one roof. Keeping services in one office can make treatment feel simpler, especially when your care involves more than one step. Digital scanning and 3D imaging help us plan with precision while reducing many of the uncomfortable parts of older dental methods.

Dr. Tom Nack graduated with top honors and advanced training from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, Arizona’s first dental school. He is committed to a modern, comprehensive approach and believes you deserve enough information to understand your oral health and make decisions that fit your needs.
Before entering dentistry, Dr. Nack served in the United States Navy for more than eight years, including service during Desert Storm. He worked as a nuclear operator aboard the USS Carl Vinson and later as a radiological controls supervisor supporting submarine repairs. After his honorable discharge, he earned a Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Nuclear Engineering Technology and worked in corporate roles.
Dr. Nack ultimately found the sense of purpose he had been looking for in dentistry. He values the chance to take a sincere interest in each patient and help people achieve and maintain better oral health. His broad training allows him to provide comprehensive care in one convenient location.

Dr. Brent Woodmansee graduated in the top five percent of his class at both Arizona State University and Midwestern University. After dental school, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency while serving in the military. During nine years with the United States Air Force, he earned the title of Advanced Clinical Dentist.
Dr. Woodmansee holds a master certification from the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology–College of Sedation in Dentistry. His additional education includes IV sedation, dental implants, oral surgery, caring for medically compromised patients, and advanced dental technology. He has also served as an American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support instructor.
He is a member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesia, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. A Phoenix-area native, Dr. Woodmansee enjoys skiing, hiking, off-roading, cheering for the Cardinals and Arizona State Sun Devils, and spending time with his wife, Lindsay, and their daughter, Harper.
